Hi everyone!
I just received a thank you note from Carolyn Euliss who is the daughter of Bev Welcher. Bev was a PL coordinator in NY. She died just before Institute and many of us worked on a quilt for her. Unfortunately, Bev lost her battle with Leukemia and never saw the quilt we finished at Institute.

"Dear Donna,
Wow, let me say that I am truly overwhelmed by the love and energy that went into my mom's quilt. Your note, and reading over each beautiful quilt square brings me to tears-- to know that she was so well thought of by so many people around the country amazes me. At the same time it reminds me that my mom will not be forgotten. Thank you so much for spearheading the project and pass along my thanks to all the blanketeers/ coordinators who helped, especially Holly and Nancy. Mom loved what she did and looked so forward to conference every year. Whenever she would visit me and my family she was never without several blankets to work on, and she was always going on about Project Linus. Honestly, it wasn't until I went back home to help handle all the arrangements and belongings did I realize that PL had become her life! The organization and her friends meant the world to her. Thus, to honor her with this quilt that you have now given me is really special. We will enjoy snuggling under it and think of our wonderful mom/ grandma. Thank you for sending it to me and my family and for keeping Mom's spirit in your hearts. Kristen Euliss"
