Well, it's Monday and the beginning of the regular job work week and the end of the weekend crafting fun!
Last Friday was my birthday and since my husband was out of town, I treated myself to an entrelac knitting class at my new favorite yarn shop, Knit & Knot, some yummy yarn and a relaxing afternoon of knitting. Of course, it was only relaxing AFTER I got started, had a few rows done and figured out what I was doing! I had so much fun, I wonder how many entrelac scarves one person can have?
Yesterday, my friend Cathy came over and used my long-arm. She had a king-size quilt she pieced and her mid-arm quilter was too small for the job. In exchange for using my long-arm, she brought an egg caserole and coffee cake for brunch after church. Someone brings food for me, I'm all in! LOL!
And, it is almost spring here in Iowa...we had snow on Sunday and forecast of 60 degrees for this coming Wednesday - crazy weather! The red-winged blackbirds are back, but I haven't seen any robins yet.
Have a great week, talk to you soon!
